Enn has over 25 years of experience founding and leading multiple companies in the energy services and equipment, construction, real estate and banking industries.
Enn was a founder of the Estonian Power and Heat Association, a NGO uniting Estonia’s most prominent power and heat companies. He served as the Head of the Revision Committee and was a Member of the Board for more than 8 years.
In 2001, Mr. Õunpuu founded Elcogen, a company developing and manufacturing solid oxide fuel cell technology.

Paul has built an expertise in turning product concepts into market-ready solutions over his 20 years of international business experience.
He has lived and worked in Japan and the U.S., where he planned and executed several commercialization projects targeting global markets.
Paul’s work on complex projects, and managing multiple stakeholder groups, allows him to quickly identify mutual business interests, driving sustainable and viable business set-ups. Paul holds an MSc in Information Technology from Tampere University of Technology and an MBA in International Finance from Helsinki School of Economics.
Henri’s career in finance spans over 20 years, working in leading Baltic financial institutions. Henri is responsible for financial and legal management at Elcogen. Prior to his current role, he worked in investment banking, advising companies on M&A transactions, restructurings, privatizations and listings. He also worked as a fund manager of investment and pension funds and served as a Board Member for an asset management company. Henri holds a degree equivalent to an MSc from Tallinn Technical University in Accounting and Finance. He also studied at the London School of Economics.
Fuel Cell Technology Lead Scientist
Juhan is the mastermind behind Elcogen’s cell development.
He has over 30 years of experience in chemical physics, mass spectrometry, spectroscopy of molecules, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and materials science. He has worked with several research institutions within the Estonian Academy of Sciences and at the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics (NICPB) as a senior research scientist.
Dr Subbi has served as a member of the Science Board at the NICPB. He has been working with Elcogen since 2001.
Stack Development Manager
Matti is a world-leading SOFC expert. He has developed deep experience in designing and evaluating SOFC stacks and systems for a variety of applications. He has spent his career specializing in fuel cells (SOFC and PEM), thermodynamics, multi-physics, and electrochemistry. Previously, he was a Manager of Product Platforms for Wärtsilä Finland Oy in the fuel cell department, where he was responsible for leading the SOFC system product development team. He also worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and was responsible for SOFC cell and stack development. Matti has over 50 publications and patent applications in the fuel cell field.
